After Steph Curry inspired the Golden State Warriors to a comeback overtime win over the Boston Celtics - who went on to win the NBA finals - in December, O'Neal made his case for the star to be included in the GOAT conversation.
"I'm wondering — I'm not saying, I'm just wondering — because he's been consistently the best shooter his whole career," O'Neal said.
"I'm wondering is it time to start putting him as the best player of all time?"
Kenny Smith asked if Shaq would put Curry over himself, to which the former LA Lakers star replied: "Yes."

O'Neal clarified that while he wasn't putting Curry over Jordan, he believes it's time for Curry to join the conversation.
The conversation on TNT Sports' 'Inside the NBA' was prompted by Curry scoring 33 points and providing six assists in the Warriors' comeback win against the Celtics.
The 36-year-old added a new chapter to his remarkable career this summer when he helped the United States win basketball gold at the Paris Olympics.
