LeBron James snubbed Steph Curry when he was asked who could surpass his NBA scoring record one day.
The 40-year-old small forward is one of the greatest players in the history of the NBA - along with the likes of Michael Jordan, Shaquille O'Neal and Kobe Bryant - in a career which has spanned more than two decades and counting as it continues to this day.
James has become NBA Champion four times across a career which has seen him represent the Cleveland Cavaliers, Miami Heat and now the Lakers.

James - who has won three Olympic gold medals with the US basketball team at Beijing 2008, London 2012 and Paris 2024 - made history in February 2023 when he surpassed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar to become the NBA highest ever points scorer.
The latter's record stood at 38,387 and James is way past that now with his total currently standing at 42,184.

And when asked in 2023 as he closed in on breaking Abdul-Jabbar's points record, James felt that Durant and not Curry would be the man who could potentially overhaul his total one day.
Speaking to ESPN, via AS, James said: "KD is the first one that comes to mind.
"They don’t call him 'Easy Money' and 'Slim Reaper' for nothing. He scores effortlessly.
"His ability to shoot the three-pointer, the mid-range shot, and attack the rim.

"He also shoots 85-90 percent from the free throw line. Those are key elements."
Curry sits 24th on the all-time list currently with a total of 25,386 points to his name.
He has become an NBA champion on four occasions with the Golden State Warriors - in 2015, 2017, 2018 and 2002 - and has been crowned the NBA's Most Valuable Player twice, and was named the NBA Finals MVP in 2022.
