LeBron James did not hesitate when naming the one current NBA player he wishes was his teammate.
The LA Lakers star has made history by playing alongside his son Bronny and staunchly defended him after criticism from Stephen. A. Smith.
James shared the court with some of the very best in the business but he was in no doubts about which rival player he would want to be on the same side as him.

On an old episode of 'The Shop', James was asked who he would most like to play with in the NBA and promptly named his son - who was making waves as a junior in high school at the time.
But then when quizzed on which current NBA player, he instantly showered Golden State Warriors sensation Steph Curry, describing him as "lethal" and "serious"
"Steph Curry's the one that I wanna play with for sure, in today's game," James said.
"I love everything about that guy. Lethal. When he get out his car, you better guard him right from the moment he pulls up to the arena. ... You might wanna guard him when he get out of the bed. Swear to god. He's serious."
James has played for multiple franchises but never with Curry, though has he got his wish by selecting him for All-Star team when he was captain.

And the two also linked up at the Olympics in Paris, with the USA's star-studded side going all the way to win the Gold medal with a 98-87 win over hosts France in the final at the Accor Arena.
Curry's response to James naming him as the NBA star he wanted to play with
When directly asked about James' comments, Curry was almost taken aback by the kind words and returned the compliments to him. Curry hailed his "greatness" and spoke about James' many qualities.

"There's no denying his greatness in terms of what he can do on the court and sometimes, even when you're playing against him, you're in awe the way he can control the tempo of the game," Curry stated.
"He can dominate scoring, passing and in terms of him picking out one player that he would want besides his son, that he would want to play with - and my name comes up - it's surreal."
