LeBron and Bronny James have been embroiled in a legal case relating to a motor accident in 2022, and the father-son duo have now issued a response to the lawsuit filed against them.
LeBron James is now in his 22nd season in the NBA as he continues to stock a résumé that will see him go down as arguably the greatest basketball player of all time.
The 40-year-old megastar has won four NBA championships, four Most Valuable Player awards and is the highest scorer in the league's history.

Last season, he led the LA Lakers to glory in the inaugural in-season tournament – rebranded for the 2024-25 campaign as the Emirates NBA Cup – and at the beginning of this season he achieved another all-time first, when he and eldest son Bronny became the first father-son pair to play together in the NBA.

James Sr.'s chances of adding a fifth championship ring to his already impressive haul got a lot stronger last month, too, when the Lakers made a blockbuster trade to acquire five-time All-NBA point guard Luka Doncic from the Dallas Mavericks, with 2020 title winner Anthony Davis moving in the other direction.
But now is has been revealed that the Jameses face a serious challenge away from the court.

On the very night LeBron and Bronny played together for the first time in an official NBA game last October, two women, April Almanza Lopez and Kiara Rae McGillen, filed a lawsuit against the pair in Los Angeles County.
The suit alleges that LeBron and Bronny were responsible for a car accident in 2022 that caused injuries requiring medical attention and damage to the women's vehicle.
The Jameses response to the legal action has been revealed by TMZ Sports, who claim to have obtained a copy of the documentation in which the NBA stars "deny each and every allegation contained in the complaint".
