UFC fighter Chris Barnett gave viewers more than they bargained for when he suffered an x-rated wardrobe malfunction in his bout on Saturday night.

Barnett was featured in the prelims on the undercard of the huge UFC 321 show in Abu Dhabi, headlined by Tom Aspinall's first UFC heavyweight title defence against Ciryl Gane.

In one of the first fights on the bill, Barnett faced Hamdy Abdelwahab in a heavyweight encounter that didn't quite deliver inside the Octagon.

Abdelwahab got the victory at the Etihad Aren via decision after three rounds but the biggest talking point was Barnett flashing his bare backside.

The Spanish-American, who is 23-10 in his MMA career and has now suffered back-to-back losses, had huge difficulty with his shorts throughout the contest.

And at one stage, as the second round was about to come to a close and with Abdelwahab trying to grapple him from behind, Barnett accidentally mooned the crowd and viewers at home after his shorts fell down.

He attempted to pull his yellow shorts back up in a hurry but it was already far too late.

That wasn't the only bit of humiliation Barnett suffered as in round one, his shorts dropped when he was on the canvas - although this time his modesty was saved ever so slightly as his undershorts did their job and stayed up.

The second instance was brutal and saw an eruption of responses on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Reacting on social media, former UFC star Derek Brunson wrote: "Chris Barnett out in Abu Dhabi show his a** , literally !!"

Meanwhile, a fan said: "Chris Barnett may have lost the fight but he won in the form of generational Images."

A second commented: "Chris Barnett is getting wrestled, is getting punched, is tired, and his pants are falling

Another added: "How ass is Chris Barnett?"

A final user weighed in, saying: "We just saw a Chris Barnett Full moon, yup its time to crack a beer."

Barnett's last win came back in September 2022 when he beat Jake Collier via TKO at UFC 279 in a catchweight bout after he missed weight.
