It is no secret that Donald Trump is a keen golfer.
The US president owns several golf courses around the world and regularly enjoys rounds with fellow golf-loving celebrities.
The cost of his numerous golf excursions to US taxpayers was recently revealed, and it has been claimed that Trump is a habitual cheater on the golf course, bending the rules to win wagers and lying about championship accomplishments.

But UFC star Bo Nickal claimed during an appearance on Joe Rogan's podcast that the 45th and 47th president of the United States in "an amazing golfer".

Nickal was invited to play a round with the 78-year-old after Trump had sat cageside to watch the undefeated fighter beat Val Woodburn by TKO after just 38 seconds at UFC in Las Vegas in 2023.
The 29-year-old MMA standout recalled the experience of watching Trump play against NFL legends Lawrence "LT" Taylor and Ottis "OJ" Anderson.

"Right after my last fight – he was cage side with [UFC president] Dana [White] – and then I got back home, and he invited me out to Bedminster in [New] Jersey and was like, 'Come golf with me,'" Nickal said. "We just golfed for four hours.
"I grew up in a town of 5,000 people in Wyoming. Now, I'm fighting on the UFC and then with Trump golfing. It's me, Trump, OJ Anderson and LT. Like, that's the foursome. And I'm like, 'What the heck is going on here?' It was super surreal.
"Him and LT were playing for a thousand bucks a hole or something. Trump, I golfed with him; the dude's an amazing golfer.

"I couldn't believe it, how good he was. Every fairway, right down the middle, hit every green, making all his puts. So he won the first nine pretty easy, and then the last nine, it was going into the 18th hole, him and LT were tied or something.
"It was like it all came down to this last hole, and they both hit great drives, and LT hit like a good approach shot, and Trump gets up there. He's probably 150 yards from the green, and he sets up, just stripes it straight at the pin. Ball's in the middle of the arc, not even coming down, he turns around, doesn't even watch it land, walks right back to the cart, sits down.
"And uh, the guy was like, 'Nice shot Mr. President,' and I was like, 'Damn, that was clutch,' and he looks at me, he goes, 'Don't you want your present to be clutch?' And I was like, 'For sure, man,' and he hit it two feet from the pin and tapped it in, and I was like 'geez'. Just a cool dude, though. It was funny."
