Combat sports fans have been left stunned after seeing former UFC star Nate Diaz pop up in Newcastle of all places.
Diaz had his last fight in UFC back in 2022 when he defeated Tony Ferguson via submission in Las Vegas.
Since leaving the promotion, he's had two boxing bouts with Jake Paul and Jorge Masvidal, losing one and bouncing back with a victory.

But Diaz has had members of the MMA community extremely confused after the latest sighting of him in the North East of England.
The Stockton slugger was spotted walking around Newcastle when one fan stopped Diaz, got a fist bump and asked him what he was doing in the area.
Incredibly, he was then seen trying out Greggs - browsing to see what the Newcastle-born bakery's vegan menu had to offer.

Diaz, with no bodyguard or any form of security in sight, happily posed for pictures with a number of fans.
He explained that he was in town as "my boy is fighting". Diaz's long-time teammate Chris Avila is on the Misfits Boxing's X Series 18 event at Vertu Motors Arena.
Avila, who fought twice in UFC, takes on Benson Henderson in the semi final of the inaugural Stake Pro Tournament and will compete in the final later on that evening if he is victorious.

Diaz, who is said to have arrived in England on Wednesday, will be Avila's corner.
But naturally, seeing the California fighter and a man who beat Conor McGregor in Newcastle had social media on strings.
One said: "Nate Diaz in a Greggs was not on my bingo card."
A second commented: "I never EVER in my life thought i’d see Nate Diaz inside a Greggs."
