Dana White announces insane cash prize for UFC viewers at sphere show if they spot hidden detail

Dana White announces insane cash prize for UFC viewers at sphere show if they spot hidden detail

UFC fans could earn a massive amount of cash this weekend.

UFC president and CEO Dana White has announced a crazy cash prize for any fan that notices one hidden detail at the sphere in Las Vegas.

The UFC will bring the first live sporting event to the new Las Vegas sphere this weekend as UFC 306 gets underway.

Bantamweight champion Sean O'Malley will headline the card as he hopes to defend his title from Georgia's Merab Dvalishvili.

And ahead of the event, White has promised any fan that can notice a series of small details during the fights will be awarded with a crazy cash prize.

The event will feature immersive visual effects throughout the venue which will play throughout the fight card, adding to the atmosphere.

Explaining the details of the effects, White said: "The fights will live inside this world and the world will evolve while the fights are going on but it will be very subtle. Clouds will move, fires will burn, birds will fly, whatever the hell is going on in that world at that time will slowly evolve during the fight.

"There are also going to be easter eggs in each one of these films... and if somebody can find all the easter eggs, I'll give you $25,000."

UFC 306 is taking place on Mexican independence day and has been branded as an event that will tell the history of combat in Mexico from the past to the future.

Therefore, it is possible that the easter eggs that fans will need to spot to claim White's cash prize will in some way be linked to the history of Mexican independence and combat sports.

Several Mexican fighters will feature on the fight card, including women's bantamweight champion Alexa Grasso who will compete in a trilogy bout against former champion Valentina Shevchenko.

Speaking last year when he announced the event, White also claimed that this weekend's event will be the best in combat sports history.

He said: "I'm super excited about this. I love challenges. Everybody keeps saying to me 'I don't understand how you're going to put the octagon in there.'

"Remember that I said this to you tonight, I'm going to put on the greatest live combat sport show anybody has ever seen."
