Joe Rogan gives two-word assessment of Paddy Pimblett as fighter's physique stuns fans ahead of UFC 314

Joe Rogan hailed Paddy Pimblett's skillset ahead of his big fight against Michael Chandler at UFC 314.

Joe Rogan gave a glowing two-word assessment of Paddy Pimblett as his physique has stunned fans ahead of his big fight at UFC 314.

Pimblett has won six fights in a row since signing with the UFC, including the biggest scalp of his budding MMA career against King Green.

He submitted Green in the first round of their lightweight clash at UFC 304 in Manchester last summer.

'The Baddy' returns to the famed Octagon on Saturday as he faces Michael Chandler, who was supposed to meet Conor McGregor last year.

The Liverpool fighter looks to be in the best shape of his career as he showed off his physique ahead of returning to action.

Rogan will be calling his contest, and he was left very impressed by the 30-year-old's stunning performance against Green.

He called Pimblett a 'world beater' as he hailed his 'perfect' strategy against the veteran American.

On an episode of his podcast with UFC champion Belal Muhammad, who dethroned Leon Edwards of the UFC welterweight title at UFC 304, Rogan said: "Then Paddy fights Bobby Green and he looks like a world beater. He looks like a world beater.

"The strategy was perfect - stay on the outside, f**k his legs up. And then, you realise how big Paddy is, too. Paddy's a big '55er... 'King', he's a tall dude, too, for the division, but you realise how big Paddy is and people think of Paddy only as a grappler, but his kicks were on point."

Speaking before Pimblett was matched against Chandler, Rogan predicted that he was in line for a big fight before claiming he'll be thinking about UFC lightweight king Islam Makhachev.

He added: "He's just fun. He looks like he's having a good old time when he's out there. And he can back it up. So, that fight was big for him because that fight moves him into elite status. He goes from Jared Gordon and now a couple other fights now, bam, Bobby Green, bam, someone's going to be a big name. Someone next is going to be a big name.

"So, he's thinking right now about Islam [Makhachev]. He's thinking about those guys at the top of the heap."

A win over Chandler would see Pimblett enter the top ten of the UFC lightweight rankings, meaning a title shot could be on the cards in the near future.
