Joe Rogan was once left stunned after asking a question which his guest claimed put his "life in danger".
The 57-year-old's podcast, the Joe Rogan Experience, is one of the most popular podcasts in the world and bagged a huge $100 million deal with Spotify five years ago.
More than 2200 shows have been produced and continue to be uploaded on the JRE YouTube channel.

Millions have watched Rogan interview an array of guests, including the likes of Elon Musk, Donald Trump, The Rock and Mark Zuckerberg.
Rogan is known for placing particular focus on martial arts, fitness and science in his lengthy conversations.
Whether inside the Octagon for his UFC duties or in his podcast studio in Austin, Texas, Rogan is widely considered to be one of the very best interviewers in the game.

But on the 1035th episode of his podcast, guest Paul Stamets wasn't too fond of one of the questions - so much so that he refused to answer it.
Stamets is a mycologist and entrepreneur who has his own mushroom company 'Fungi Perfecti'. The company website says that the brand is "synonymous with cutting-edge mycological research and solutions".
Rogan, who has spoke about how he has used mushrooms for psychedelic experiences, was keen to get an insight into fungi and asked Stamets, "What are what are the benefit or the negative effects of this?”.

The 69-year-old had a very surprise reaction to the question, responding: "This is an explosive area of conversation and puts my life in danger, so reserve the right not to answer a question.“
Stunned by the reply about the danger of his question posed, Rogan then said: "Whoa didn’t expect that. It puts your life in danger talking about portobello mushrooms? He’s looking at me silently. I will respectfully move on.”
Rogan's most hated guest stunned fans with his behaviour
Not all of Rogan's guests are thought of fondly. YouTube list specialists WatchMojo.com compiled a top ten of the worst guests on Rogan's podcast and picked comedian and regular Afir Shafir as the winner as "some consider him rude, arrogant and quite demeaning" and he has "frequently rubbed audiences the wrong way".

He once relieved himself during an episode but despite that, those close to him insist that his behaviour is merely part of a character he is playing.
