Joe Rogan has come up with a 'crazy' idea and it involves a UFC champion moving up in weight for a super-fight.
Last weekend's UFC 312 is officially in the books as Dricus du Plessis beat Sean Strickland to defend his UFC middleweight title.
Alexander Volkanovski and Ilia Topuria were present in Sydney, Australia, as they were on corner duties.

They were in opposite corners during the prelim bout between Aleksandre Topuria and Colby Thicknesse.
After UFC 312, Rogan speculated on what's next for Volkanovski and UFC featherweight champion Topuria.
Volkanovski hasn't fought since surrendering the UFC featherweight title to Topuria, who last fought when he stopped Max Holloway last October.

A rematch has been mooted, but Rogan prefers the idea of Topuria campaigning at lightweight to challenge UFC king Islam Makhachev, who beat Renato Moicano last month.
He also suggested Volkanovski takes on top contender Diego Lopes, who has won five fights in a row.
Speaking on his podcast, Rogan explained: "As crazy as it sounds, I hope Ilia goes up to [155 pounds]. I really do. [Alexander] Volkanovski-Diego Lopes [at] 145, Ilia goes up to 55. I don’t care if he only defended the title one time or didn’t, who cares. Let’s go. Let’s f**king go.
"It’d be nice [to see him fight some of the other contenders at featherweight] but also who cares? Let’s go. Let’s f**king go.”

Rogan added: "If you want to make the big fight for July, is it the Volkanovski rematch? I don’t know. Volkanovski, people probably want to see him win one.
"He gets beaten by Islam in the first fight, he gets KO’d by Islam in the second fight... and then he gets KO’d by Ilia. So two KO losses in a row, one decision, even though he’s a legend, you kind of want to see him beat a contender maybe.”
On Topuria vs. Volkanovski 2, he continued: "I wouldn’t hate a rematch.

"It’s one of those ones where I hope Alex is 100 percent and I want to see it but he shouldn’t have fought him that quickly after getting KO’d by Islam. Three months, four months later, he took a shot."
