Georges St-Pierre disagrees with Dana White as he's named the best UFC fighter on the planet on right now.
The UFC pound-for-pound discussion continues to rage on following White's bold claim about Jon Jones following UFC 302 earlier this month.
Speaking after Islam Makhachev defeated Dustin Poirier to defend his UFC lightweight title, the UFC boss rejected the Dagestan star as the pound-for-pound best in the UFC, insisting it is Jones.
"I think he’s one of the greatest of all-time," White said of Makhachev. "I think he’s incredible. I don’t think he’s the pound-for-pound best fighter in the world.

"For anyone to call Islam the pound-for-pound best fighter in the world when Jon Jones is still f**king fighting is nuts and shouldn’t be ranking in the pound-for-pound or doing any of the f**king rankings ever if that’s what you really think."
St-Pierre, however, sees it differently as he believes Makhachev is the best pound-for-pound fighter in the UFC right now.
The 32-year-old improved his overall MMA record to 26-1 following his submission victory over Poirier at UFC 302, with St-Pierre hailing his Octagon showing.
On the 155lbs UFC title holder, 'GSP' said: "I think right now he’s the best pound-for-pound right now.

"Because of his last few performances. Just amazing. An amazing showcase of heart, too, because he had a bad cut on his forehead and Poirier gave him a tough time.
"Pushed the pace to the edge, and I think that fight is going to make Makhachev even better.
"These are the fights that make you grow."

Jones has been out of action since March 2023 when he stopped Ciryl Gane to claim the vacant UFC heavyweight title.
As for Makhachev, he's made three defences of his UFC lightweight championship after winning the vacant title against Charles Oliveira.
He boasts not one but two victories over UFC featherweight king Alexander Volkanovski and, of course, owns a scalp over Poirier.
