Joe Rogan has revealed what the referee told him moments after Alex Pereira beat Khalil Rountree at UFC 307.
Pereira delivered a spectacular display to defend his UFC light-heavyweight title against Rountree in the main-event of UFC 307 last weekend.
The Brazilian star stopped his opponent in the fourth round following a brutal onslaught of vicious strikes against the fence.
After Rogan interviewed Pereira and returned to his seat in the commentary booth, he recalled his conversation with Marc Goddard, who oversaw the UFC 307 championship bout.

Goddard told Rogan the sound he heard from Pereira's shots were like nothing he had ever heard before, describing his power as 'ungodly'.
He said: "I was in the Octagon after the fight and Marc Goddard came up to me and he said 'I've been doing this for 20 years', and he goes 'the way he [Pereira] hits people', he goes, 'the sound is like nothing I've ever heard before'.
"He said it's 'ungodly'. That's what he kept saying, he says 'it's ungodly'."

'Poatan' has enjoyed a blistering run in the UFC since claiming the 205 belt last year.
He has successfully defended his championship against Jamahal Hill, Jiri Prochazka and Rountree.
During his post-fight press conference, Dana White hailed Pereira's recent performances inside the famed Octagon.
"What this guy [Pereira] has done is unbelievable, and the way that he’s done it; this guy destroys everybody... This guy always wants to fight, and I mean he’s 38 too - it’s not like he’s 28 and he’s got this many fights [left in him], but we’ll see how it all plays out [as to what’s next]," he said, before praising Rountree's toughness.

"What a helluva fight, I mean Khalil Rountree is another level of tough.
"He had no fear from the first round, Khalil Rountree went in there and started going at it from the minute that the bell rang; no fear, no jitters, no nerves - maybe he did, but he didn’t show it... He went right in there against one of the baddest dudes of all time and just started mixing it up with him, it was awesome.
"You have to respect this guy, [but] did this not play out the way everybody thought it would? Everybody at first was like 'Oh he’s ranked number 8 blah blah' but you knew that it was going to be a badass fight, you knew it was going to be badass."
