Dillon Danis has been released from his contract with Bellator MMA.
According to MMA Fighting, Bellator officials confirmed the news to the publication following speculation on Twitter.
Danis only fought under the Bellator banner on two occasions - his only professional MMA bouts.

However, his last fight took place back in 2019.
Danis scored a pair of submission wins in his bouts, though his opponents only held a combined 5-8 record.
After his most recent fight, some four years ago, Danis suffered injuries that prevented him from returning to the octagon.
That didn’t stop him from dipping his toe into the world of the influencer boxing scene.

While he failed to make it to his first scheduled fight against KSI, Danis finally climbed into the ring earlier this month for a heated, high-profile bout with Logan Paul, which he ultimately lost by disqualification.
Indeed, the MMA fighter landed fewer the ten punches across the entire fight, before being disqualified in the final round after inciting a mass brawl.
Before and since the Paul fight, Danis has spoken of a desire to eventually compete in the UFC, however, it is unclear if the organisation would have interest in the 2-0 fighter, considering he hasn’t competed in MMA for almost half a decade.

The 30-year-old mentioned UFC president Dana White on X (Twitter), telling him they would make a lot of money together, before retweeting a post confirming his Bellator exit.
"We about to make a lot of money, Dana White," Danis tweeted, adding a handshake emoji and another of a money bag.
Of course, Danis’ close relationship with UFC icon Conor McGregor means anything is possible when it comes to future opportunities in MMA.
