Conor McGregor placed an outrageous last-minute $1 million bet on UFC 307 and won big.
McGregor watched on as Alex Pereira beat Khalil Rountree in a stunning performance to defend his UFC light-heavyweight in the main-event of UFC 307 last weekend.
Pereira put on a striking clinic, eventually stopping Rountree in the fourth round of their championship clash in Salt Lake City, Utah.
It's already the third defence of his 205lbs title, having claimed the vacant belt last year when he stopped Jiri Prochazka.

The Brazilian's latest victory saw McGregor bag $200,000 after placing a massive $1 million bet.
On social media, he shared his bet slip, showing his winnings, accompanied with the caption: "If you don’t take risks you won’t drink champagne."
After Pereira vs. Rountree, McGregor praised both combatants, calling their showdown a 'tremendous bout' in a now-deleted video on X.

"Great fight," he told fans, before repeating Pereira's 'Chama' catchphrase. "Absolutely tremendous bout. Telephone boxes he smacks with, 100 per cent.
"Absolute bangs of telephone boxes, they’re lean backs, yeah? No feet, the feet aren’t going back there, no stepping back, it’s not as if it’s a lean back. Boom, you’re still right in front of him, boom. Rountree is as tough.
“A lot of weapons, a lot of them and he could have let them go a bit earlier as well, the inside low kick, the outside low. That was a tremendous bout, yeah? Incredible.”
Reacting to 'Poatan's post-fight interview with Joe Rogan, where he declared his interest in staying at light-heavyweight, McGregor ranted: "Ah leave it out, if he says drop down to middleweight, don’t lie to yourself that was a heavy cut.
