Rapper Tinie Tempah won a gold medal in the same Brazilian jiu-jitsu tournament that Tom Hardy conquered two years ago.
Tinie - real name Patrick Chukwuemeka Okogwu Jr. - competed at the third annual Reorg Jiu-Jitsu Championships, which took place at East London University last weekend.
Reorg is a charity that works with veterans, military and emergency personnel impacted by the physical and psychological stress of the job in a safe and supported environment.

And Tinie picked up a gold medal at the event as he shared his triumph on social media.
He posted a series of pictures of himself on Instagram, accompanied with the caption" REORG OPEN 2024 No Gi Gold! OSSSSSSSSS.."
The 35-year-old beat his opponent 4-0 on points to claim the 'Master 1 Blue Belt Lightweight Division' title.

On how he got into the martial art, he said: "I got into jiu-jitsu a couple of years ago and it is incredible, but really tough. I had done other martial arts before and a bit of boxing, but this really takes it to another level.
"I don’t want to make it sound like an ordeal, though. Jiu-jitsu is hard work, sure, but it is also just the most fun thing. Everyone in the class is at different levels, but the one thing they all have in common is that they want to train hard and get to the next level.
"The vibe is great because everyone is focused on getting better and they are all helping each other out. It sounds strange - helping each other out, and beating each other up. It is all part of the fun!
"Every time I come and train, I learn new stuff. It pushes me physically and there are so many moves that it can be tough on the brain too, which helps keeps me mentally sharp as well. When I come off a training session I am buzzing and can get right back to work. You also meet some great people from all backgrounds, from military and professional athletes, through to teachers and office workers."

It's not the first time a high-profile celebrity has rocked up at Reorg as actor Tom Hardy showed off his jiu-jitsu skills at the same tournament two years ago.
