UFC star Paddy ‘The Baddy’ Pimblett revealed that he would love to fight Manchester City and Portugal star Bernardo Silva inside the octagon.
A lifelong Liverpool fan, Pimblett made a name for himself at MMA promotion Cage Warriors before switching to the UFC in 2021.
The 27-year-old Brit has fought three times in Dana White’s promotion and has remained undefeated in the UFC, with Pimblett emerging as a rising star in MMA.

Pimblett will make his hotly anticipated return to the octagon on Saturday for a lightweight clash against Jared Gordon at UFC 282 in Las Vegas.
Outside of MMA, the Liverpool-born UFC fighter is a loyal Reds supporter and isn’t too keen on the Premier League club’s Manchester rivals.
Pimblett admitted that Silva, who is representing Portugal at the World Cup, is an “unbelievable” player and a “proper baller.”

But Pimblett insisted that he would love to step into the octagon with Silva, having previously wanted to fight “overrated” Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes.
Speaking to Ray Parlour and Alan Brazil on Pub Talk, he said: “Last season, when he first got signed, it was Bruno Fernandes, ’cause of how overrated he was.
“But now, it’s Bernardo Silva, lad. I don’t know anyone who likes Bernardo Silva, lad.

“He’s an unbelievable footballer. He’s a proper baller. But he’s a horrible wrong’un. He’s a piece of s**t.
“That time when they gave us [Liverpool] a guard of honour, and he just stood there. Come on lad.”
Pimblett has candidly spoken about his desire to fight at Anfield, but UFC president White has ruled out the idea of hosting an event in an outdoor arena in the UK.
“I’m not going outside. I’m definitely not going outside in f*****g England,” he told The Spinnin Backfist MMA Show in June.

“If you’re going to go outside, you go to Abu Dhabi where it’s hot as hell and absolutely not going to rain but I don’t even like that.
“I don’t like having any outside factors that can affect the fight. Heat, wind, any of that stuff that can hurt the outcome of a fight, I don’t like.”
