Luis Gonzalez accidentally knocked out referee Scott Manhardt with a rolling thunder during his fight with Lewis Byrne on Thursday.
Gonzalez was representing Mexico and Byrne represented Ireland during their MMA Super Cup semi-final clash and the former was looking for a quick win.

'The Assassin' busted out a rolling thunder kick, which is incredibly difficult to pull off accurately, and secured a huge knockout.
Problem is it was a knockout of official Manhardt and he hit the canvas with an almighty thud.
Everyone cage side was caught off guard by the incident and immediately rushed to check on Manhardt.

He ended up being fit enough to referee the rest of the contest.
Gonzalez would go on to lose the fight via decision and Byrne advanced to the final.
Fans have reacted to the footage and they're in awe at how clean the strike was, even though it was planted on a referee.
One commented: "What I’ve learned from watching WWE is we’re getting a false finish and another referee will dramatically run down to the octagon."
