Khabib Nurmagomedov didn't have a clue who Drake was ahead of his grudge match against Conor McGregor at UFC 229.
Drake was in attendance for UFC 229 as he backed his man, supporting him on stage for the official weigh-ins.
The Canadian rapper was draped in the Irish flag and poised for a picture with the 'Notorious' ahead of the fighter's UFC championship clash.

Of course, McGregor succumbed to Nurmagomedov's genius, tapping to a neck crank in the fourth round of their main-event bout in October 2018.
McGregor fell victim to the then-Drake curse, but 'The Eagle' didn't even know who he was in the build-up to their title fight.
Speaking on the Full Send Podcast, the former UFC lightweight king revealed: "Honestly, I swear I don’t even [know who Drake was]... before when he was on the corner of Conor [McGregor], people said this guy is very famous.

"I swear I didn’t know this guy," he added.
"I don’t know this guy like they say. Maybe I hear his music somewhere in street or something but I didn’t know this guy."
Drake's not really for Khabib who also admitted that he's more of a 50 Cent, Eminem and 2Pac kind of guy.
The Russian phenom also touched on his fight with McGregor, mocking his rival's decision to tap when he was prepared for war.

"First of all, I was preparing for war," he told The Nelk Boys'.
"I come inside the cage, I fight with this guy, and he tapped. I’m like, 'Why [did] I come here? Why [did] I train so hard for this?
"You’re going to tap easily like this?' I just take his chin, you know, and he tapped.
"This one make me upset, too, you know, because I accept more than what I find inside the cage."
