Cheltenham Festival is one of the biggest sporting events in the calendar, and the best place to buy tickets has been revealed.

The huge racing event sees hundreds of thousands of Brits descend on the famous Gloucestershire racecourse every year, with trainers, owners, and jockeys hoping to take home the prestigious Gold Cup.

Over four action-packed days, 28 races will take place, and you can watch the action unfold from the stands - or a private box if you're feeling fancy.

Where to buy tickets for Cheltenham Festival 2025

There are lots of different ticket options to choose from via the official website. Club Enclosure tickets appear to be the most in demand, with prices starting from £100.80 for the first three days of the event. If you want to attend on the Friday, the price jumps up slightly to £117.90.

As for Tattersalls tickets, you're looking at £71.10 for the first three days with a slight price increase for Gold Cup Day at £84.60. The cheapest option? You need to book the Best Mate enclosure for £51.30 on the first three days (or pay £67.50 for the Friday slot).

For those of you looking to splash out on a good time, you can book hospitality tickets on the official website now. There’s a huge range of luxury experiences to choose from, whether you’re after some posh pub grub at the famous Horse and Groom or an impressive Michelin-star experience. Before making any commitments, you can compare prices over at Seat Unique, where VIP tickets and private boxes are also on offer. Prices start from £459. Eventbrite is also home to hospitality tickets if you don’t have any luck.

If you’re after a more affordable option, don’t forget to check out resale sites. At the time of writing this, you can purchase tickets via Stubhub or Viagogo. The cheapest day appears to be St Patrick’s Thursday with prices starting from £42 each. For Gold Cup Day, you’re looking at a minimum of £92. Only purchase resale tickets from reputable sites.

Major racing fans can even book to attend the Official Cheltenham Festival Preview, where an expert panel will share valuable information on what to expect over the four days. The event kicks off at 6.30pm on Thursday, March 6 at The Centaur at Cheltenham Racecourse. Ticket prices start from £10 and you can book the event here.

When is Cheltenham Festival 2025 taking place?

This year, Cheltenham Festival will take place from Tuesday 11 to Friday 14 March, 2025.

How many races will take place at Cheltenham Festival this year?

So, what can you look forward to this year? The 2025 meeting will hold a grand total of 28 races across the four days, so that’s seven races per day. Out of the lineup, 13 are run over fences with 13 over hurdles alongside a bumper and cross-country chase.

Cheltenham will kick off with Champion Day, a celebration of the world’s champion horses and jockeys. Highlights include the Champion Hurdles and a Grade 1 race over two miles. You can book tickets for Champion Day here.
