Zeno Debast produced a moment of magic as he scored a Champions League goal of the season contender against Lille on Tuesday.

The Sporting CP centre-back doubled his side's lead in the 65th minute with a sensational goal.

He unleashed a terrific strike from distance that flew into the top corner, leaving goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier with absolutely no chance.

His goal even left some of his teammates on the pitch in shock as they couldn't believe what they witnessed.

Needless to say, fans online couldn't get enough of Debast's outrageous long-range hit.

One X user wrote: "Debast with da best goal you’ll see for a long time."

A second tweeted: "Might very well be the Champions league goal of the season already."

A third added: "Oh dear that's a rocket."

A fourth joked: "They’ve been watching Barclaysmen comps all across Europe during the NT break."

Incredibly, the stunning strike brings up the first goal of Debast's professional career.

The 20-year-old, who joined from Anderlecht during the summer, had never scored in the pro ranks before tonight's Champions League fixture.
