Liverpool fans have voiced their concerns over something Arne Slot said in his pre-match press conference ahead of the upcoming Champions League clash with AC Milan.
Slot's promising start to life at Anfield hit its first major hurdle at the weekend as Liverpool suffered a shock 1-0 defeat at home to Nottingham Forest in the Premier League.
The Reds have the opportunity to bounce back quickly when they face Milan at San Siro on Tuesday night, in their first match in the new-look Champions League.

Ahead of the game, Slot was asked if a lack of rotation was to blame for the surprise defeat to Forest – with seven of his starting line-up for the match playing maximum minutes for their respective nations during the recent international break.
Slot denied that was the reason for the defeat, referring to his previous experience as manager of Feyenoord.
"At Feyenoord we didn't rotate a lot. It's too simple to put this loss on rotation; too many players didn't reach their normal level," said Slot.

"For me it had a lot to do with the playing style of the opponent who made it difficult for us."
It's not the first time Slot has spoken about his former club in relation to Liverpool – which is unsurprising, considering the Dutchman is only a few months into his spell as manager on Merseyside after three years at Feyenoord.
But some Liverpool fans have questioned why he has chosen to compare the two clubs.
"Liverpool are a much bigger club to Feyenoord and expectation is a lot higher," posted one fan on X.

Another added: "His constant referencing of Feyenoord is a little concerning. Needs to learn fast this is a whole different ball game."
"Why is he keep saying this? He said it before the game too... it's not an excuse, this is not Feyenoord.. every game is hard you have to adapt and rotate," added a third.
While a fourth added: "This isn't the Dutch league man."

Despite the unexpected setback against Forest, Liverpool remain in a strong position after the early weeks of the new season.
They are currently fourth in the Premier League table, three points behind leaders Manchester City, and will face Bournemouth on Saturday in their next league game after the match against AC Milan.
