A YouTuber has opened up on his so-called 'beef' with Cristiano Ronaldo after they filmed a challenge video together.
Wroetoshaw, real name Harry Lewis, was speaking to Theo Baker and Reev on the Pitch Side podcast earlier this year when he told the story about visiting Ronaldo in Madrid ahead of the 2017 release of Nike's new CR7 Mercurial football boots.
After travelling to Spain with his brother, Josh, they eventually made their way to a complex where the five-time Ballon d'Or winner was staying. Hours later, they eventually took part in a crossbar challenge and penalty shootout in his garden.

So what happened? Well, according to Sidemen member Harry, things didn't exactly go to plan.
"Here's what my beef with Ronaldo is," he explains. "So, I'm filming and he didn't like the fact that I was just f******g pinging the ball at my brother. He was going light but I’m just smacking the ball as hard as I can from like point-blank range.”

Ronaldo even said: “You’re hitting it too hard," but this didn't stop W2S from "blasting" the ball at his brother, Josh.
"I don't think he was too pleased with that," Harry added. "We had 10 minutes and the first 7 minutes was filming this penalty shootout. And then we did a crossbar challenge. He said something in Portuguese to his manager as I was setting up the crossbar challenge."
After filming the video in Portugal, a curious Harry got in touch with another YouTuber, AA9skillz, to translate what Ronaldo said while filming was taking place.
"It was just something along the lines of, 'times up surely. Can we move on?' He was fed up with it," Harry says. "But I was like, 'f**k it, I don't care. We had one shot each and we both missed."

Harry, who wore the CR7 Nike Mercurial boots while performing his penalty shootout, added: "It was a stressful day. I wasn't even starstruck filming with Ronaldo. There was no room for that. I was just stressed about my GoPro and having one shot at it. It wasn't my favourite to video to film but it did quite well."
It's fair to say the trip was worth it for W2S and his brother. At the time of writing, the YouTube collab with Manchester United forward Ronaldo has been a viewed a quite staggering 67 million times.
He concluded the clip by saying, "Thank you to everyone who has watched me over the years. The fact that I can do this with my life blows my mind. Also, thank you to Cristiano Ronaldo and Nike for making this happen."
