Wrexham players were given the full VIP treatment in their lavish promotion trip to Las Vegas but one member of the squad was extremely limited with what he could do.
The Red Dragons were treated to an all-expenses holiday to Sin City after winning the National League with 111 points, after a promise made by owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.
Manager Phil Parkinson "did not make the cut" for the trip for the title-winning squad but every member jetted out to Vegas.

The "outrageous" four-day trip included watching Steve Aoki and The Chainsmokers at the very best nightclubs, as well as dinner at the Bellagio.
McElhenney himself joined the squad along with his wife Kaitlin Olson to ensure scenes from classic film 'The Hangover' were not repeated.
But one player in particular couldn't quite make the most of the Vegas experience. Defender Max Cleworth, who played 21 times in the National League in 2022/23, is still only 20 and therefore not allowed to drink alcohol and gamble in the United States as the legal age is 21.

Still, his teammates made sure he wasn't the odd one out during the course of the trip.
"Wasn't it Max Cleworth who wasn't old enough to enjoy the best bits of Vegas?” Reynolds asked on the Fearless in Devotion podcast.
McElhenney explained: “Yeah sometimes he wasn't allowed into places and some of the guys would stay with him and they'd find other things to do.”

Reynolds then joked that Cleworth "entered Vegas a boy and he left a man".
Also on the podcast, the pair were asked which player loved the camera the most and both agreed that club-record signing Ollie Palmer was the clear winner.
In fact, Reynolds revealed he has to shield his wife Blake Lively from Palmer, who has a tendency to be shirtless whenever they head down to the Racecourse Ground dressing room.

“Every time we've come as a family we've come over we have a walk down to the dressing room," he explained.
“Ollie is always the first one to walk out, completely shirtless, to have a conversation with my wife. I'm like, 'Ollie put a f**king shirt on and come back out to speak to her like a gentleman'.
“Ollie is one of the best guys I know though, really funny, and I'm thrilled for him and his clothing brand. It's nice to see that take off.”
11 players were released by Wrexham after the promotion campaign, while talks are still ongoing with Ben Foster, who has not yet decided whether he will stay on after coming out of retirement.
