Cristiano Ronaldo sent shockwaves through the football world last week when he expressed his desire to leave Manchester United, all eyes will now be on his next move.
News emerged on Saturday evening that Ronaldo has told United to let him leave if a ‘satisfactory offer’ comes in for him.
However, United are believed to be reluctant to part ways with their star man, they have stated that the Portugal captain is not for sale and they expect him to stay at Old Trafford for the upcoming season.
The 37-year-old made a sensational return to United last summer from Juventus, but failed to galvanise the team as United stumbled to a sixth placed finish in the Premier League, as a result failing to qualify for the Champions League.

Since news emerged about Ronaldo’s desire to seek a new challenge, there have been major moves in the betting market regarding his future.
According to Oddschecker, Ronaldo has taken more than 30% of all transfer bets since Saturday.
Many clubs will be lining up for a chance to add Ronaldo to their ranks but only a few will be able to afford his mammoth wages.
Oddschecker says that United remains the favourites to keep hold of their man with current odds at 13/8.

United’s Premier League rivals Chelsea are currently second favourites to sign Ronaldo at 11/4, news emerged last week that the Portuguese’s agent, Jorge Mendes met with Chelsea co owner Todd Boehly and a potential transfer involving Ronaldo was discussed.
German champions Bayern Munich are currently priced at 2/1, however, it seems unlikely Ronaldo will be pursuit as the club recently added Sadio Mane to their team, but with the future of striker Robert Lewandowski still yet to be resolved, Ronaldo could be then perfect replacement for the Polish international.
