Tyler Dibling has returned to boyhood club Southampton on deadline day, just weeks after he left the Saints to join Chelsea.
The talented 16-year-old midfielder signed for Chelsea's academy in a deal worth £1.5 million, according to Fabrizio Romano, who reported on July 28 that a 'full agreement' was in place between both clubs.
A week later and Dibling, who was also linked with a move to Newcastle before joining the Blues, confirmed his departure on social media.

He wrote: “Just want to say a massive thank you to all the staff and players at Southampton for these last 10 years at the club.
“I’m forever grateful for the opportunities that have been handed to me and wish the club all the best. I’m excited to join Chelsea and can’t wait to get started."
Now, the teenager has decided to return to Southampton after a brief spell in West London.

According to Adam Newson from Football.London, Dibling found it difficult to settle at Chelsea and as a result, both clubs worked together to do what was best for the youngster.
It is believed Chelsea's academy staff were notified on Thursday.
The Blues posted a player profile of Dibling on their website soon after his arrival, describing the player as a "technical, silky midfielder who has been involved with England camps at Under-16 level."
Back in April, Dibling went viral after he scored three identical goals for Southampton U23's in the club's 4-2 win against Newcastle at St James' Park.

Dibling made his Premier League 2 debut for Southampton in January, where he registered an assist after an impressive showing. Remember the name.
