Wrexham are plotting a huge statement signing as they look to continue their push for promotion out of League Two.
Since the sensational takeover of Wrexham by Hollywood actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, the club have embarked on a fairytale journey that's seen them climb out of the National League to League 2.
It has been obvious from the outside that Wrexham have a big future ahead of them, and their A-list owners are fully committed to delivering that for the fans.

The Welsh side made headlines last season by signing ex-Premier League goalkeeper Ben Foster, who played a major part in their promotion by making a last-minute penalty save against Notts County.
Foster's poor form at the start of this season led to the 40-year-old retiring, but it doesn't look like Wrexham will be short of former Premier League stars as Billy Sharp has recently expressed interest in the club.
The Wrexham bosses aren't only looking up the divisions for potential signings however, with reports emerging that the club are ready to break their transfer record for League Two star.

Their current transfer record came when the club were in the National League as they paid £300,000 for Ollie Palmer, more recently they shelled out £250,000 for former Premier League ace James McClean.
The League 2 side are now tipped for another huge transfer, as they line up a move for Swindon Town's Saidou Khan.
The 27-year-old midfielder has one goal and three assists so far in League Two, and would give Wrexham another dynamic in the middle of the park.
According to Pete O’Rourke at Football Insider, the Gambian international could be on his way to North Wales for the second half of the season once the transfer window opens.

Despite only having 6-months left on his contract, it is expected that Wrexham will have to pay around £350,000 to secure the move.
Wrexham boss Phil Parkinson is reportedly a huge fan of Khan, but one decisive factor could be the availability of the midfielder.
Khan looks a nailed on pick for Ghana for the African Cup of Nations which would see him miss the majority of the start of 2024 regardless of the club he will be playing for.
