Viktor Gyokeres has already 'made up his mind' on who he wants to join in the summer window in huge deal

Viktor Gyokeres has been linked with a move away from Sporting Clube de Portugal.

Sporting Clube de Portugal superstar Viktor Gyokeres has reportedly made up his mind on his next move.

Gyokeres, 26, has been heavily linked with a move away from Sporting after yet another fine season.

So far in the 24/25 campaign, the Swedish striker has scored 34 goals and assisted seven in 33 matches across all competitions for the Portuguese champions.

As a result of his impressive record, Gyokeres has been tipped to leave Sporting, with a range of different clubs around the continent linked.

To name a few, the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, Paris Saint Germain and Barcelona are all said to be keeping an eye on the situation.

However, it was claimed back in November 2024 that Gyokeres had already chosen his next club.

As reported by The Sun, Gyokeres has his eyes set on a move to Old Trafford, in what would be a reunion with former boss Ruben Amorim.

The report stated: "SunSport understands Sporting Lisbon striker Gyokeres has his heart set on a move to the Premier League and a reunion with ex-boss Ruben Amorim at Manchester United."

Before becoming United boss, Amorim was asked about potentially reuniting with Gyokeres at Old Trafford.

The Portuguese said: "No, no, no. I cannot be funny with that in this moment. It was tough for me to leave, if I start joking about that with Gyokeres, I’ll have problems. This is my city, this is my country, I will respect.

"Viktor has to stay until the end of the season and then his life is going, maybe, somewhere else."

When asked about about Amorim, Gyokeres himself said: "We will miss him a lot, of course.

"We achieved a lot together and we will miss him and the other members of the staff, but they are leaving and we have to move on and face the next challenge we have."
