A surprise club has emerged as the frontrunners to sign former Manchester United star Paul Pogba after he was spotted
In February, Pogba was handed a four-year ban from football after a drugs test found elevated levels of testosterone in his system, almost certainly putting an early end to his career.
However, the Frenchman's ban was later reduced to just 18-months following a successful appeal, leaving him free to return to the pitch in March.

Despite this, former club Juventus decided they would terminate Pogba's contract, leading to several of the top clubs across the world reportedly considering a move ahead of the end of his ban next month.
According to several reports, Pogba's preference is to stay and compete at a top club in Europe, despite bids from several clubs in the Saudi Pro League and MLS.
Marseille previously appeared to be his most likely next destination after sporting director Medhi Benatia confirmed the club were interested, but in a shock turn of events, it now look like Pogba may have made a complete 180 and could instead link up with Lionel Messi at Inter Miami.

The surprise links to the American club came after Pogba was spotted meeting with club owner and fellow United legend David Beckham ahead of Inter Miami's MLS opener against New York City FC.
Pogba attended the game alongside tennis legend Serena Williams, fuelling speculation that he could line up in pink and black next month,
Fresh off the back of her surprise appearance during the Super Bowl half-time show, Williams shared photos with both Pogba and Beckham, writing: "Why do athletes do the same thing? Oh yeah and about last night."
In response to Pogba's attendance at the 2-2 draw at the Chase Stadium, odds on him signing for Inter Miami have swung to 9/4, with both Marseille and Manchester United following behind at 9/2.

However, one potential issue Pogba could encounter if he were to join Messi at Inter Miami is fulfilling his hopes of once again playing for the French national team again as players outside of Europe tend to struggle to break into what is already an impressive French side.
