Juventus star Paul Pogba has been told Premier League new boys Luton Town would ‘run a mile’ if offered the chance to sign the midfielder.
Pogba returned to Turin last summer after his second spell at Manchester United ended bitterly.
However, the Frenchman was hit with multiple injuries during the 22/23 season as he failed to rediscover the football he showed in his first spell with the club.

As the summer transfer window heats up, Pogba’s future is again one of the main talking points.
According to reports in Italy, Juventus are looking for a fee of just £8 million to sell the midfielder.
Whilst speaking on talkSPORT, former Aston Villa and England striker Gabby Agbonlahor spoke about whether Pogba is still good enough to play in the Premier League.

When asked if Pogba can play for Villa, Agbonlahor said: “I would 100% yeah. If he got back to the fitness that we know he can get to. I think he could break into Aston Villa’s side.
“He’s still got that flair, that eye for a pass, eye for a goal. I rate Paul Pogba, I rate him, I think he was a target for some Man United fans.”
Fellow talkSPORT presenter Alex Crook said: “Seriously Gabby Paul Pogba at Aston Villa? You can count the number of good games he had for Manchester United on one hand.
Agbonlahor went on to say: “Do you not think he gets into Luton, Sheffield United? Listen, Pogba on his day, scores goals, he can run with the ball, got great passing, he can do everything as a player.

“On his day, if he’s fit and he’s hungry, come on, he can do a job in the Premier League.”
Crook added: “But those days are few and far between, he has all the attributes to be a world-class player but has he got the mentality? Not for me.
“Rob Edwards, he’s trying to build something at Luton and I think he’d run a mile if he got offered the chance to sign Paul Pogba.”

During what was a truly torrid 22/23 season, Pogba only managed 10 appearances across all competitions for Juventus.
In those 10 matches, the 30-year-old failed to score a single goal and only managed one assist.
