Newcastle United striker Callum Wilson has been linked with a move away with three Premier League clubs reportedly offered a chance to sign him.
Back in 2021, Newcastle were taken over by the Saudi Arabia Public Investment Fund.
Since then, the Magpies have spent big on the likes of Alexander Isak, Bruno Guimaraes and Anthony Gordon.

However, it has recently been reported that Newcastle could be forced to sell some of their best players as they look to comply with strict Financial Fair Play rules.
Over the last few weeks, the likes of Kieran Trippier and Miguel Almiron have been linked with a move away from St. James’ Park.
Earlier in the week, it was reported that Newcastle and Saudi Professional League side Al Shabab have reached an agreement over the transfer of Almiron.

Now, it has been claimed that Wilson could be the next star to leave the club.
According to The Standard, Premier League giants Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal have all been alerted to Wilson’s availability.
With less than a week left of the January transfer window, the report states that the 31-year-old could be sold for just £18 million.
Since joining Newcastle from Bournemouth in a deal worth a reported fee of £20 million back in 2020, Wilson has made 102 appearances for the North East club, scoring 46 goals.

According to The Telegraph’s Luke Edwards, Wilson could be worried about his future as Newcastle could target a new striker in the summer transfer window.
Edwards said: “I suspect Newcastle will sign another centre-forward in the summer as part of succession planning. He [Wilson] will be worried that he will suddenly be behind Alexander Isak and this new signing. He might drop down to third-choice centre-forward. Callum Wilson doesn't want to be third-choice centre-forward anywhere.”
Speaking recently on the Footballer’s Football Podcast with West Ham United star Michail Antonio, Wilson spoke about rumours surrounding his future.

He said, via The Standard: “It’s January. The window is open and there is always speculation with players, not just regarding myself but with everyone else in the squad as well. I haven’t got much more to say than that.”
