Roma 'would consider' a move to sign Mason Greenwood from Manchester United, according to a new report.
That is according to talkSPORT, who claim that Jose Mourinho's side would be interested in signing the forward as he looks to negotiate an exit from Old Trafford.
Greenwood will leave United by mutual consent, a decision which was confirmed in an official club statement on Monday after a six-month internal investigation into his conduct.

United's internal investigation began following the decision by the Crown Prosecution Service to discontinue charges against Greenwood of attempted rape, engaging in controlling and coercive behaviour and assault occasioning actual bodily harm, due to a combination of the withdrawal of key witnesses and new material coming to light meaning there was 'no longer a realistic prospect of conviction'.
The forward, who is contracted to United until 2025, could be sold permanently or loaned out by the club this summer.
But they have a short timeframe to complete a deal, with the European window closing on September 1.

However, the Daily Mail claim that Saudi Pro League clubs are interested in signing Greenwood, with their window closing six days later.
What Jose Mourinho said about Mason Greenwood during academy stint
If Roma do sign Greenwood, he would be managed by Mourinho, who was in charge at United when the forward signed his first professional contract in 2018.
The 21-year-old was not given his senior debut by Mourinho - that occurred when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took charge - but was invited to train with the first team squad before a Champions League fixture against Valencia in December 2018.

Former United midfielder Nicky Butt, who was academy manager at the time, told The Athletic in 2021 about Mourinho's first comments towards him regarding Greenwood: "I was his academy manager so I wondered what it would be like. The reality was that he spoke to me every single morning at breakfast.
"He asked me about young players, he was approachable, he was helpful. He would ask me which players I wanted to move up.
"He asked, 'Who is this kid, Greenwood?', when Mason was 15. He said, 'Bring him to train with us'. I said, 'We can't because he's at school and there are rules and regulations'."
