One of Europe's elite clubs have launched a 'formal offer' for Mason Greenwood in what would be a major cash boost for Manchester United.
Greenwood spent last season away from Old Trafford as he enjoyed a loan spell at Getafe, where he scored 10 goals in 36 matches.
His performances in Spain's La Liga alerted several clubs around Europe.

Marseille eventually struck a deal with Man United last summer, securing his services in a deal worth £26.6 million.
For Marseille, Greenwood has bagged 15 goals in all competitions, including 14 goals in Ligue 1.
He's garnering plenty of attention following his showings in France's top flight, with Paris Saint-Germain 'keeping a close eye' on the English forward.

That's according to Spanish outlet Fichajes, who claim PSG are hoping to make Greenwood a 'statement signing' for the 2025/26 season.
The French giants have reportedly submitted a 'formal offer' worth £62.4 million for the 23-year-old.
If Greenwood does switch his allegiances in France, then Man United are set for a 'lucrative' cash injection, having inserted a sell-on clause when letting him move to Marseille.

A sell-on clause is set at between 40 and 50 per cent as Man United chiefs were well aware of the player's potential.
If the sell-on clause stands at 40 per cent, then the Red Devils will receive £25 million from the transfer.
But Man United could get as much as £31.2 million if the sell-on clause is set at 50 per cent.
The cash injection would come as a huge boost for Man United, who are looking to recruit new players ahead of a squad overhaul this summer.

The club plan to offload several players to free up the wage bill and an extra £25-£31 million from Greenwood would be an ideal scenario ahead of the club's summer transfer activity.
