Marseille are reportedly targeting the signing of a second England international after agreeing a deal with Manchester United for Mason Greenwood.
United have accepted an offer of £26.7 million for Greenwood, as per The Guardian, from the French club, who are managed by the former Brighton boss Roberto De Zerbi.
It is claimed that the Red Devils have inserted a sell-on fee of between 40 and 50 per cent as part of the agreement. Personal terms are still to be finalised.

The agreement has been criticised by Marseille mayor Benoit Payan, who told French outlet RMC Sport that he will urge the club not to sign Greenwood.
United announced last year that Greenwood would leave the club following an internal investigation, which was prompted by the February 2023 decision from the CPS to discontinue charges of attempted rape, controlling and coercive behaviour, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm, made against the forward.
In a statement, the CPS confirmed that the decision was due to a 'combination of the withdrawal of key witnesses and new material that came light meant there was no longer a realistic prospect of conviction'.

Another issue has presented itself overnight, with reports that Lazio are hoping to overtake Marseille in the race to sign Greenwood as a result of stalled negotiations with the French club, as per Di Marzio.
Regardless of whether Marseille finalise the signing of the 22-year-old, they reportedly have their eye on another England international.
According to Foot Mercato, De Zerbi's side want to sign Arsenal forward Eddie Nketiah, who fell out of favour with Mikel Arteta during the second half of last season.
The 25-year-old, who made his England debut last year, was an unused substitute in each of the Gunners' final six Premier League fixtures, and he didn't start a match in any competition after the end of 2023.

It is claimed that Nketiah is 'open to a new challenge', with Kai Havertz establishing himself as Arsenal's number nine in the closing weeks of the campaign.
With Gabriel Jesus and Leandro Trossard both competing with Havertz, as well as claims that the Gunners could sign another striker, Nketiah's future at the Emirates Stadium may be in doubt.
The Gunners sold Folarin Balogun to Marseille's Ligue 1 rivals Monaco last season, and he could be playing against Nketiah next season.
