According to Mail Sport, Fletcher Snr is believed to be driving the effort to bring his sons to the red half of Manchester.
And City are reportedly looking to poach one of United’s most highly-rated academy stars in a “revenge” move.

According to the Manchester Evening News, City are set to sign centre-back Harrison Parker from the United academy after the club refused to meet his demands for a salary increase.
The 16-year-old was allegedly offered a competitive financial package but United were unwilling to break their salary structure to retain the youngster.
Parker joined United from the Arsenal academy two years ago and would have become a scholar at Old Trafford for the coming season.
The youngster only played three times for the Under-18s last term due to a long-term injury. Once he neared full fitness United reportedly sensed Parker had decided to leave and concluded he was not dedicated to the academy.
