Manchester United have scheduled a new round of talks with Atalanta for striker Rasmus Hojlund, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
United and Paris Saint-Germain are both interested in signing the Denmark international, who scored 10 goals last season for Atalanta.
United submitted their opening bid for Hojlund on Wednesday, with the Premier League club offering a total package worth €60m (£51m) - with €10m (£8.5m) to be paid in add-ons.

On Thursday, PSG also made an opening bid for the 20-year-old striker worth €50m (£43m).
Both offers are unlikely to be accepted, with the Daily Mail claiming Atalanta value Hojlund at €100m (£86m).
Hojlund would reportedly prefer a move to United over PSG but RMC Sport claim that the forward has an 'agreement in principle' with both clubs.
Romano says United have now scheduled new talks with Atalanta over a deal for the striker as they look to complete their third major signing of the summer after Mason Mount and Andre Onana.

"Understand Man United have scheduled new round of talks with Atalanta for Hojlund," tweeted Romano.
"It will happen this week after €60m 'package' bid.
"Man Utd remain favourites after 5 year deal agreed, player's priority.
"PSG pushing but current bid falls short of Atalanta expectations."

Atalanta manager Gian Piero Gasperini has admitted he is unsure if Hojlund will still be at the club for the start of the new Serie A season.
"I don't know whether he'll stay or leave, but I hope the club will value Hojlund around €80, 90 or 100 million fee," said Gasperini.
"Rasmus is one of the best – if not the best – emerging talents in Europe as a striker."
Meanwhile, Hojlund has dropped a potential United transfer clue on Instagram on Thursday.

The Dane liked a post on United's official Instagram account, wishing youngster Kobbie Mainoo a speedy recovery from injury.
Erik ten Hag's side are waiting anxiously to discover the extent of the injury that forced Mainoo out of last night's defeat by Real Madrid.
He was forced off after colliding with teammate Casemiro in their 2-0 defeat at NRG Stadium in Houston and was spotted leaving the arena on crutches.
