Manchester United starlet Isak Hansen-Aaroen has admitted that he could leave the club in January after failing to secure a move during the summer window.
The Norway international midfielder trained with the senior United squad on a number of occasions under Erik ten Hag last season, and was expected to be a given an opportunity during pre-season.
He played in friendlies against Lyon, Wrexham and fierce rivals Leeds, providing an assist during the fixture against the latter.

But Hansen-Aaroen has yet to be named in a matchday squad this season, and almost left the club during the summer window amid interest from clubs in the Championship.
And now, the 19-year-old has revealed that a loan move away from Old Trafford could happen in January.

Speaking to Norwegian outlet VG while on international duty, Hanson-Aaroen admitted: "A route is right for some, which may be completely wrong for others. I think you just have to sit down and figure out what's right for you because there are different answers for everyone.
"There was talk of something different [in the summer], but I don't want to say too much about it. There was some stuff, but we didn't quite agree.
"There is a lot of interest. If we wanted it to be a loan, I know we could go. There were slightly different things that we didn't quite agree on."
United have loaned out other young players this summer, although the quantity of loans has been far lower than in previous years.

Left-back Alvaro Fernandez has joined La Liga side Granada on a temporary deal for the season, while Brandon Williams has joined Championship side Ipswich - who are managed by highly-rated former United coach Kieran McKenna - on loan.
But Hansen-Aaroen will have to wait until January if he is to secure a loan move away from Old Trafford.
