Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson could be forced into remaining at Old Trafford - despite mass speculation over his future.
Henderson has been linked with a move away from United this summer, with Nottingham Forest holding talks over a loan move with an option to buy, as per the Manchester Evening News.
He enjoyed a successful loan spell at the City Ground during the first half of last season, but saw his season curtailed early through injury.
He has also played no part in United's pre-season games as he completes his rehabilitation - but it is an injury to another player that could ironically lead to him staying at the club instead of getting his move.

Dean Henderson could stay at Man Utd
According to Sky Sports, United shot-stopper Tom Heaton has suffered a calf injury that will rule him out of the opening weeks of the campaign.
Erik ten Hag has little options in the goalkeeping department as a reserve for Andre Onana, with Zion Suzuki rejecting an offer to join the club earlier this month.
The Manchester Evening News claim fellow reserve stopper Matej Kovar is set to join Bayer Leverkusen, while Nathan Bishop has joined Sunderland.

Henderson, therefore, may be required to be United's reserve goalkeeper while Heaton recovers.
Former United academy graduate Heaton, who is 37 years of age, has seen a potential move to Luton vetoed by the Old Trafford management - and his injury woe could spell bad news for Henderson too.
