Manchester United and Bayern Munich are set to battle it out for two of the best strikers in world football.
Both Man United and Bayern are keen on strengthening their attacking options.
The Red Devils have misfired this season, with the likes of Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee, who joined from Bologna for £36.5 million during the summer transfer window, failing to find the back of the net on a consistent basis.

As for the German giants, they want to add a forward to their squad, which currently consists of Harry Kane, who has been ultra-prolific since joining from Tottenham, and Mathys Tel.
According to Christian Falk, Man United and Bayern could engage in a transfer tug-of-war as they have both identified the same strikers.
It's claimed that the Premier League side are rivalling Bayern for RB Leipzig's Benjamin Sesko and Sporting's Viktor Gyokeres.

Sesko has attracted plenty of interest over the years, with Arsenal notably linked with the Slovenian star at one time.
He shot to fame at Red Bull Salzburg, scoring 18 goals across all competitions before securing a switch to Leipzig in the summer of 2023.
The 21-year-old weighed in with 18 goals last season and has scored seven goals in 14 appearances this campaign.

As for Gyokeres, he's enhanced his reputation following his £17 million move from Coventry City to Sporting in the summer of 2023.
At Coventry, he bagged 38 goals in the Championship over two seasons, having failed to make his way at Brighton, where he didn't make a league appearance.
The Swedish star, 26, netted an impressive 43 goals in all competitions last season and has enjoyed a blistering start to the new campaign, scoring 23 goals - including a hat-trick against Manchester City in the Champions League.
Falk claims Bayern are also keeping tabs on Eintracht Frankfurt's Omar Marmoush and Sesko's teammate Lois Openda.
