Paris Saint Germain star Manuel Ugarte has already made his feelings clear on a potential transfer to Manchester United.
On Tuesday afternoon, it was reported that United are interested in signing PSG midfielder Ugarte, who only moved to the Parc des Princes last summer.
As reported by French news outlet L’Equipe, PSG are open to negotiations and it was said that the Red Devils have had a bid rejected for the 23-year-old.
Back in May, it was reported by transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano that Ugarte spoke about his PSG future.

He wrote on social media: “Manuel Ugarte on his future: ‘Next season still at PSG? I hope so, I’d love to stay here. We will see what’s gonna happen.’
“PSG have no intention to accept loan proposals for Ugarte, this is current club’s stance.”
Ugarte moved to PSG from Portuguese club Sporting Lisbon in a deal worth a reported fee of £51.8 million.
Upon signing for the Paris club, the Uruguayan said: “I’m really happy to take this big step in my career at such a great club. I’m going to give my all for Paris Saint-Germain.”

Aside from Ugarte, it has been reported that United are also interested in Bologna striker Joshua Zirkzee and Everton centre-back Jarrad Branthwaite.
United suffered a poor season after finishing eighth in the Premier League and were knocked out of the Champions League at the group stage.
However, they ended their season on a high by winning the FA Cup after beating Manchester City in the final at Wembley.

Looking ahead to pre-season, Erik ten Hag said: “Pre-season is about preparing for the season and we have to make that our next step.
“It is one of the only times when you have the team together, and you can work in training on structures, the way of play, but also on certain standards around the team and that’s very important to take this period and use it effectively.”
