Manchester United have been told they will become the favourites to win the Premier League if they sign Harry Kane.
Ever since the summer transfer window kicked into action, the future of Kane at Tottenham Hotspur has been one of the main talking points.
Spurs have so far been adamant that they are not going to sell the England captain for anything less than £100 million.

In recent weeks, German Bundesliga side Bayern Munich have had two bids rejected by the North London club.
It has been widely reported that United are looking for a new striker and have been linked with Kane and Atalanta man Rasmus Hojlund.
Spurs’ high price tag has so far meant United have failed to make a deal happen for Kane.

However, Peterborough chairman Darragh MacAnthony has urged United to sign Kane, claiming that it will make them the favourites for the league title.
Speaking on talkSPORT, he said: “If Manchester United want to enter the proper title race, not like last year, they go and buy Harry Kane and that puts them right there, straight away.
“They will become favourites with Man City to win the title if they go get Harry Kane. £100 million for a player who is going to be the GOAT striker, the greatest of all time goal scorer is going to be value for money.”
MacAnthony added: “What is he 29? You’re going to get four years, the best four years of his life even at his age. His game is not based on pace, he’ll score 30 goals a year in the United side.

“Forget the guy who’s playing at Atalanta, who is untested in the Premier League, go and buy the GOAT of strikers in the Premier League.”
Kane’s Spurs teammate, Son Heung Min has said that he is unsure whether the Englishman will stay or not.
He said: “I can’t say anything about the final decision because I don’t know anything.

“Probably Harry doesn’t know. We just have to wait. The decision will be between the club and Harry and we have to respect it.”
