Kalvin Phillips has reportedly agreed to join a European powerhouse with Manchester City set to approve the deal.
Back in July 2022, Phillips left Leeds United for City in a deal worth a reported £45 million.
However, the 27-year-old has so far struggled to nail down a place in Pep Guardiola’s starting eleven.

Rodri is the undisputed starter in the number six role for City but the likes of John Stones and Rico Lewis have been picked as the Spaniard’s replacement ahead of Phillips.
As a result, the Englishman has been linked with a move away from the Etihad Stadium in a bid to gain more minutes.
According to Italian news outlet Gazzetta, Phillips has agreed to join Serie A giants Juventus on a loan deal from January until the end of the 23/24 season.

The report also claimed that City are set to approve the deal. However, there are some details to iron out before the deal could take place.
It has been reported that Juventus are hoping City will pay a section of Phillips’s wages, which is believed to be €5 million per season.
Speaking recently about Phillips, Guardiola said, as per Fabrizio Romano: “Kalvin is exceptional in many things. Why he doesn't play? Rodri is key for us.
“Never, ever makes one action against mates that play or trains bad. I'd love to give him as much minutes as possible.”

He continued: “My opinion is my opinion. The last word belongs to the club. If he decides to do it [leave], then do it. If the agreement is not done, then he stays. He’s behaving incredibly.
“One of the most generous players I’ve ever seen – honestly, as I don’t want to compliment when players don’t play matches. Others are maybe problems in locker room – it’s completely the opposite.
“Every time he goes to national team with Gareth [Southgate] I’m the happiest man in the world. When he plays it’s a benefit for me. I don’t know what will happen with Kalvin because when the transfer window is open, nobody knows.”
