Pep Guardiola has already ruled out one move for Cole Palmer amid interest from Premier League rivals Chelsea.
The 21-year-old forward has been impressing at the start of the 23/24 season after he scored in the final of the FA Community Shield and the UEFA Super Cup.
However, despite his heroics, Palmer still finds his opportunities limited as Guardiola often opts for the likes of Bernardo Silva, Julian Alvarez and Phil Foden ahead of him.
On Wednesday afternoon, it was reported that Chelsea are interested in signing Palmer.

It has been claimed that City are unsure whether to part ways with Palmer or not.
Speaking earlier in the month, Guardiola has already stated that Palmer will not be going out on loan.
He said: “I don’t know [if he will stay]. When we arrived I had the opinion that he wanted to leave but now I don’t know.
“I don't think a loan is going to happen. He's going to stay or he's going to be sold.”

He added: “I understand he wants to be more active than the previous season.
“But Riyad [Mahrez] has gone so we have one more place there. I cannot say anything because, of course, all the decisions need to be made by the club. The club has to decide what the best is. All together, we will do it.”
Chelsea have already spent big this summer after splashing the cash on the likes of Moises Caicedo, Romeo Lavia, Nicolas Jackson, Christopher Nkunku and Axel Disasi.

Despite that, it has been said that Blues boss Mauricio Pochettino is targeting a new attacker before the summer transfer window shuts on Friday.
City meanwhile have signed Mateo Kovacic, Josko Gvardiol and Jeremy Doku in what has been a rather quiet summer for the champions of Europe.
