Lamine Yamal is seen as football's next young superstar and it seems Barcelona know what talent they have after allegedly rejecting a world record bid for the player.
The 17-year-old burst onto the scene when he made his Barcelona first team debut at the age of just 15 in 2023.
Still only a teenager, Yamal has scored eight goals in 55 games in all competitions for the Camp Nou side, winning the La Liga title with his boyhood club.

Yamal has also tasted success with his country, Spain, after the European Championship victory this summer following a 2-1 win over England in the final.
The forward has scored three goals in 16 caps for Spain and is likely to add many more in the years to come if his career remains on a upwards trajectory.
Yamal's current contract runs until the summer of 2026, meaning he has two years left on his deal.

However, it would be fair to imagine that the Camp Nou club will be seeking to extend that term as the Catalan side has one of world football's most prestigious talents on their books and could well be the focal point of their attack over the next decade.
Though many would imagine Yamal's time will be at Barcelona for some years to come, it appears it has not stopped other sides trying to tempt the Catalan club into selling their prized asset.
It appears that Paris Saint-Germain tried to tempt Barca with a sale by once again offering a world record transfer fee for one of their attackers, repeating what the French club did in 2017 when they paid €222m to meet Neymar's release clause.

The Parc des Princes side lost their superstar attacker Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid on a free transfer this summer, and it appears the French outfit attempted to snare Yamal in his place.
Football agent Andy Bara has claimed PSG offered 'around €250m' to Barca for Yamal's services, which would have been a new world record transfer, but the Spanish outfit turned this down.
Speaking to Podcast Inkubator, Bara said: “One thing I know for sure is that Barcelona did reject a big offer for Lamine Yamal from PSG some months ago.
"The deal was worth somewhere around €250 million."
