Jesse Lingard is close to completing a shock transfer on deadline day, according to stunning reports.
Lingard has been without a club since June following his release from Nottingham Forest.
He cut ties with his agent after growing frustrated that 'several contract offers and enquiries since his departure from Forest have failed to develop'.

The 31-year-old offered himself to La Liga giants Barcelona as he looked to land a new team and was open to moving to MLS outfit Portland Timbers.
He had also been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia, with Al Ettifaq and Al Shabab thought to be interested in acquiring his services.
But it appears Lingard is finally set to sign for a new club, with Sky Sports News claiming he's on the verge of joining South Korean side FC Seoul.

It's claimed he will sign a two-year deal, with an option of a third year.
Lingard is due to fly out to South Korea to complete the deal in the coming days.
FC Seoul currently have four non-South Korean players in Aleksandar Palocevic, Stanislav Iljutcenko, Willyan and Hosam Aiesh.
In South Korea, the transfer window remains open until March 8, 2024.

The former Manchester United youth product made 20 appearances and scored two goals last season after penning a one-year deal at Forest.
He hasn't been at his best since his prolific loan spell at West Ham United in the 2020/21 season.
He bagged an impressive nine goals in 16 league games and was linked with a return before joining Forest.

Lingard has also spent time on loan at Leicester City, Birmingham City, Brighton and Derby County during his career.
