Barcelona have reportedly been offered a chance to sign former Manchester United player Jesse Lingard.
Lingard left Old Trafford at the end of the 21/22 season and ended up signing for Nottingham Forest.
During his time with the Red Devils, Lingard made a total of 232 appearances across all competitions, scoring 35 goals including the winner in the FA Cup final against Crystal Palace back in 2016.

At the end of the 23/24 campaign, Lingard left Forest upon the expiration of his contract.
Since then, the midfielder has trained with the likes of West Ham United and Steven Gerrard’s Al Ettifaq.
Despite that, the 31-year-old is still without a club as the 23/24 season reaches its halfway point.

However, the Englishman has now been linked with a move to Spain.
According to Spanish news outlet SPORT, Barcelona have been offered the chance to snap up Lingard on a free transfer.
The offer to sign the former United player came after it was reported that Barcelona boss Xavi is keen to add an extra midfielder to his squad during the winter transfer window.

However, due to Barcelona’s ongoing financial issues, the club could be forced to sign someone on a cheap or even a free transfer.
As a result, Linagrd, who will cost Barcelona nothing in terms of the transfer fee, has been offered to the Catalan club.
Barcelona are currently third in the La Liga table, seven points behind Real Madrid and Girona.
Speaking ahead of the January transfer window last month, Xavi hinted the club could be busy to bring in new faces.

He said: “We always want to reinforce the pieces we are missing.
“With Gavi's injury we need a player with that profile, it’s clear.”
Barcelona are in action on Sunday night as they take on Barbastro in the round of 32 in the Copa del Rey.
