A third club has entered the race to sign Ivan Toney amid reports linking him with a stunning move away from Brentford this summer.
Toney has been the subject of intense transfer speculation, with Brentford 'slashing their asking price' for their prized asset.
The Bees have been 'surprised' at the lack of interest for the star forward, who scored four Premier League goals last season after returning to action following his ban for breaking FA betting rules.
But Manchester United have now joined Tottenham and West Ham United in attempting to acquire Toney's services ahead of the new season.

That's according to a fresh report from The Athletic, who claim Man United have discussed a move for him internally.
The Red Devils have already signed a forward this summer, having snapped up Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna for £36.5 million.
Despite bolstering their frontline, it appears Erik ten Hag is still keen on recruiting another forward before the transfer window slams shut.

As for Thomas Frank, he would 'love' Toney to remain at the club.
Asked if the England international is likely to leave the Gtech Community Stadium during the summer transfer window, the Brentford boss replied: "You never know.
"He’s a Brentford player and I would love him to stay. That would give me a very positive challenge.
"But I haven’t met a coach who doesn’t want as many good players as possible. Right now, Ivan is a Brentford player."

Quizzed on whether he was aware of any offers for the 28-year-old, Frank added: "| know he’s a Brentford player.
"I know he’s enjoying his well-deserved time off after his time with England.
"I would be more than happy if he stayed with us. He’s a goalscorer and that’s very good to have in your team so if you want to buy him, it’s expensive."
