A Sky Sports reporter has dropped an update on Harry Maguire’s future amid interest from West Ham.
On Monday West Ham made an improved offer worth £30million for the United centre-back, having had a £20million bid for the England international rejected last month.
The Hammers have also submitted a separate £30million bid for United midfielder Scott McTominay, which United also turned down. Erik ten Hag’s side are reportedly happy to keep McTominay, but value him at £45million and acknowledge he could be their biggest sale of the summer.

Regarding Maguire, the Evening Standard claim the centre-back has indicated he is keen to join West Ham if the Hammers can agree a fee with United.
The publication added that the 30-year-old is excited by the prospect of a move to the London Stadium, while he is aware a lack of playing time under Ten Hag could threaten his England prospects ahead of Euro 2024 next summer.

According to Sky Sports’ Melissa Reddy, Maguire could leave should United and West Ham compromise on a £35million fee.
Reddy said: “West Ham are trying to do a double raid on Manchester United. There’s a lot more optimism on their end of getting a deal for Harry Maguire over the line because their £30million bid for the defender is still under consideration by Manchester United.
“That club had valued him at around £40million but a compromise in the region of £35million could see a transfer happen. So West Ham and United are not so far off in terms of price points for Maguire.
“Erik ten Hag has made it clear he is happy to keep Maguire in the squad as part of his centre-back options, but the club do not want to be obstructive to him getting more minutes elsewhere.

“So talks ongoing with West Ham. That is close.
“In terms of add ons you can see the compromise of £35million be easily reached.”
