Bayer Leverkusen superstar Florian Wirtz has reportedly decided on his next club.
Having played for the likes of SV Grun-Weiss Brauweiler and FC Koln at the start of his youth career, Wirtz was signed by Leverkusen in 2020.
The midfielder impressed straight away for the U17 team and made his senior Bundesliga debut in May 2020, starting against Werder Bremen.

Since then, the 21-year-old has managed 47 goals in 162 appearances across all competitions. He has also played for Germany on 25 occasions, scoring four goals.
Last season, Wirtz played a key role as Leverkusen won the Bundesliga title under the guidance of Xabi Alonso.
As a result, the young star has been linked with a host of different clubs around the continent, including the likes of Liverpool, Manchester City, Arsenal and Real Madrid.

According to Sky Sports Germany, Wirtz has already decided on his next club.
It has been claimed that the 21-year-old prefers a move to Bayern Munich next summer instead of leaving Germany.
In addition, the report stated that it could take an offer of more than €100 million for Leverkusen to even think about selling Wirtz, with the club wanting to hold out for a transfer fee of €150 million.
Earlier in the year, Wirtz spoke about his future when asked about Alonso’s links with Bayern and Liverpool.

He said: “It’s extremely important to me that I have such a good connection with (Alonso). But of course we decide about our future independently of each other. I don’t tie my path to his, no.
“I really don’t know what the coach will do. And regarding my future: My focus these days is on the national team. And after that I still have a lot of plans with Bayer Leverkusen.”
It has been suggested that if Bayern were to fail in their bid to sign Wirtz, Paris Saint Germain star Xavi Simons could be the alternative.

The Dutchman’s long-term future remains uncertain as he is currently playing for RB Leipzig on loan from the Parc des Princes club.
With the likes of Michael Olise, Jamal Musiala and Harry Kane already at the club, Vincent Kompany could build one of the best attacks in world football in the future.
