If Erling Haaland wants to play non-league football, then his offer is still on the table.
Haaland scored a staggering 52 goals in all competitions last season as he was aided with a break during the campaign, when the 2022/23 term halted for the 2022 World Cup.
Norway's lack of involvement in Qatar meant the phenom forward was able to put his feet up and enjoy a few weeks without representing Manchester City.

However, he could have continued to ply his trade in England as seventh-tier side Ashton United made an ambitious loan approach.
Co-chairman Jonathan Sayer has revealed the offer is still on the table after the non-league club never received a response from the Premier League champions.
What's more, if Haaland's father Alf Inge wants to lace up the boots again, then the offer is open for him too.

"The door is always open to Erling. To be honest, the door is open to his dad as well," said Sayer.
"I think he could do a job for us."
He added: "The offer was genuine but we never heard anything from City, so it wasn’t a no.
"And at the game which would've been his debut, quite a few fans turned up wearing Erling Haaland masks.

"I'd like to think he was one but wearing a mask of himself."
Sayer continued by discussing the impact of the loan offer for Haaland. He claims the club's social media presence grew and were able to sell extra shirts.
"The impact has been positive. Our social media fallout almost doubled. So lots of new people found Ashton United," he said.

"We sold extra shirts, including some to places that aren’t so near here. There might have been one or two sent to Norway, we definitely sent a lot to America and a few to France.
"But the interest it generated was huge, we even had TV in Australia wanting to speak to us."
